Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filiberto Pueblo started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Esteros FC's zone, Filiberto Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Afonso came out of the goal and Filiberto Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteros FC's Amadeo Oxarra got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piquete's Filiberto Hartz got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Inocente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nunez Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esteros FC! The referee gave Piquete a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mariano Lluc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Esteros FC's Nunez Afonso. 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Esteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Inocente came free, but Nunez Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Filiberto Hartz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Anibal Bidun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Oxarra in the 43rd minute. Esteros FC's Nunez Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Hartz in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Inocente made a kick off. Constantino Inocente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Nunez Afonso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Constantino Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Inocente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Afonso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Inocente in the 88th minute of play forced Esteros FC's goalkeeper Nunez Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piquete's Constantino Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Piquete's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Cefero came free, but Anibal Bidun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piquete eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
