The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Arixo during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Jairo Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zona San Martín were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Chichilo 2017's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teobaldo Ostargi took the corner. The corner led Zona San Martín's Teobaldo Ostargi to fire away a dangerous shot which Fausto Orkatz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Horado to make the kick off. Pastor Patrido's late challenge caught a Chichilo 2017's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. Pastor Patrido hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Salomone notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zona San Martín's Ruben Frutos. Ruben Frutos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Lluterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute Desiderio Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Nastasio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Fernando Licerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zona San Martín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fausto Orkatz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Chichilo 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Lluterio came free, but Fausto Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Horado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
