In the 5th minute Benicio Sansone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Sansone in the 8th minute of play forced Llisca AFC's goalkeeper Matias Basualdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Basualdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Benicio Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ARGENTINOS JRS's Octavio Calvet got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Octavio Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the ARGENTINOS JRS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Calvet couldn't finish the play. Llisca AFC's Matias Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Martinez in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Calvet in the 28th minute of play forced Llisca AFC's goalkeeper Matias Basualdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Octavio Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Llisca AFC's zone, Dante Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Basualdo came out of the goal and Dante Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Matias Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Sansone in the 42nd minute of the match. When Benicio Sansone came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ARGENTINOS JRS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Sansone couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Everardo Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llisca AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Firmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Matias Basualdo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Octavio Calvet sent off a good shot on target. Octavio Calvet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Basualdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Octavio Calvet managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARGENTINOS JRS's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Calvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Basualdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Firmo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Firmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Everardo Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Amato, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benicio Sansone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Basualdo having to make a save. In the 69th minute, ARGENTINOS JRS's Octavio Calvet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as ARGENTINOS JRS's Octavio Calvet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Basualdo. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Llisca AFC's Matias Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Calvet in the 80th minute of play. Matias Basualdo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Sansone in the 97th minute. The Llisca AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ARGENTINOS JRS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
