If Bartolo Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Paez in the 23rd minute of play forced Pintos's goalkeeper Silvio Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Silvio Remir made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Aaron Belmiro made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Remir. Pintos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bartolo Paez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Silvio Remir 38 minutes into the match. Pintos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alejo Santio in the 44th minute. The corner led Pintos's Alejo Santio to fire away a dangerous shot which Basilio Tirso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Felix Vermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Tirso. Durazno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Vermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Felix Vermudo made the kick off in the second half. Silvio Remir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Belmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Silvio Remir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Belmiro in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Belmiro in the 61st minute of play forced Pintos's goalkeeper Silvio Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pintos's Ceferino Efraim got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Felix Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The referee ignored Durazno's protests and gave Aldo Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Pirmin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Felix Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Belmiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Remir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Paez in the 86th minute of the match. If Aaron Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Durazno's Bartolo Paez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Remir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Felix Vermudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Tirso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Durazno were the better team. Durazno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
