An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Belmiro in the 4th minute of play forced Pintos's goalkeeper Silvio Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Bartolo Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartolo Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Silvio Remir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Paez in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Remir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Bartolo Paez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno and the Pintos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pintos's Silvio Remir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Paez in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Aaron Belmiro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvio Remir. In the 32nd minute Aaron Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Remir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Paez took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Remir. Silvio Remir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Basilio Tirso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Durazno's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Belmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Remir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes, Jonas Benino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintos and the Durazno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Benino kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The long shot by Epifanio Cordarrel in the 62nd minute really tested Silvio Remir's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bartolo Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Remir having to interfere. If Bartolo Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Modesto Maju mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintos and the Durazno players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Durazno booed when Pintos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Pintos's goalkeeper Silvio Remir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Belmiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Belmiro got free with Silvio Remir in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Tiniebra in the 79th minute of the match. If Felix Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Benino hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bartolo Paez spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pintos's goal. Aaron Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Remir having to interfere. When the match was over Durazno could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pintos throughout the match.
