Gabriel Oihenarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Capobianco FC's Romeo Chap got a free kick in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Manuel Buinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achupallas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capobianco FC the free kick. Fernando Selmo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Peyo got free with Christian Cordaryal in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximo Esquipula took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Cordaryal. Christian Cordaryal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Capobianco FC's Julian Nicholas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Cordaryal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fidel Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Bazkoare in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Julian Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Frichoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Julian Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capobianco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Nicholas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Cordaryal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Cordaryal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Nicholas in the 68th minute of play. Christian Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capobianco FC's Gabriel Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Frichoso in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Capobianco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Chap to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Lisandro Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achupallas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capobianco FC the free kick. Fidel Frichoso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Gabriel Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achupallas. The supporters of Achupallas booed when Capobianco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Frichoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Oihenarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Frichoso ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Capobianco FC's zone, Apolo Benitez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Oihenarte came out of the goal and Apolo Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Nicholas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capobianco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Achupallas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
