Domingos Jatsu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alfredo Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Dantae having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Min. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Herminio Ledesma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Saladillo FC booed when Gandofi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Jatsu. A collision led to Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mauro Vimaro hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Leon Michael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Mateo in the 42nd minute of play. Siro Oxarra succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Jatsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Gandofi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Beti to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Ledesma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Jatsu went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Saladillo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Alfredo Mateo scored to the left of an out of position Anier Dantae, making the score, 3-1. In the 72nd minute, Domingos Jatsu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saladillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Mateo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Dantae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Blas Abajas notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Saladillo FC's Anier Dantae. Anier Dantae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Siro Oxarra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Ledesma having to make a save. Herminio Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Jatsu in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gandofi's zone, Siro Oxarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Ledesma came out of the goal and Siro Oxarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Saladillo FC booed when Gandofi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Saladillo FC's Mauro Vimaro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gandofi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
