The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Tajo during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Varvarco got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Tajo. Baldomero Rio might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Ignatius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Rio ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Eli during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Aragón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Eli to maneuver through the defense. When Valentin Mano fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aragón AFC's protests and gave Valentin Mano a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Mano hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Froilan Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Faron in the 30th minute of play. During the 32nd minute of the match Valentin Mano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valentin Mano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 34 minutes into the match, Varvarco's Blas Gaueko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Generoso Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aragón AFC's Bartolo Goiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonides Romildo's late challenge caught a Varvarco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Romildo helped the player get up and apologised. Generoso Matai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolo Goiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 41 played minutes Aragón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Eli. Saul Edorta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Generoso Matai was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Faron in the 52nd minute of play forced Varvarco's goalkeeper Froilan Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Aragón AFC's Bartolo Goiz got control of the ball when Saul Edorta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Generoso Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Saul Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bartolo Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Elias Faron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aragón AFC and the Varvarco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Varvarco booed when Aragón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Matai in the 79th minute of play forced Aragón AFC's goalkeeper Bartolo Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Baldomero Rio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Ignatius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Generoso Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Aragón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Matai came free, but Bartolo Goiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aragón AFC's Bartolo Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Matai in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Generoso Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varvarco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Matai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Aragón AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Elias Faron hit a great ball. 95 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Varvarco's Generoso Matai fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Varvarco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
