Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Pelopincho's Antonio Illart started the match with a crisp pass. In the 18th match minute, Christophersen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Balendin to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Deportivo Pelopincho's Octavio Benvide fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Deportivo Pelopincho getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Antonio Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pelopincho's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Illart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Orlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Octavio Benvide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Orlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 49th minute, Baldomero Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Arlo was the one to do the kick off. Christophersen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pelopincho the free kick.
