Anselmo Isadore helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gil FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Anselmo Isadore hit a great ball. With a little luck, Orteguistas FC's Jairo Eusko got control of the ball when Leopoldo Gutierrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leopoldo Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Leopoldo Gutierrez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Cosme Berdaitz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Gil FC's Lázaro Avellaneda got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil FC's Adolfo Txordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Abadie in the 35th minute of play. When Delmiro Abadie came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Orteguistas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Abadie couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Txordon having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Abadie to strike the kick off in the second half. Lázaro Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some careless play in the Gil FC defense, Delmiro Abadie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Txordon. The Gil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Txordon should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jairo Eusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
