In the 36th minute, La Gloria's Federico Oton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hipolito Lopes. Hipolito Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cosme Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Tichos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Hipolito Lopes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Cosme Damario charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Timoteo Edwardo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Almagro's protests and gave Timoteo Edwardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Timoteo Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Gloria's Marco Galsino got a free kick in the 79th minute. Maximino Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Darien came out of the goal and Baltasar Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to La Gloria getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cosme Damario hit a great ball. In the 94th minute San Lorenzo de Almagro were awarded a corner. Samuel Veremundo went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Truylos got free with Adrian Darien in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Gloria had won after a very even match.
