In the 13th match minute, Puna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Quirce to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Fermin Aztore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Jaguares the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Puna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Aztore to maneuver through the defense. Puna's Santo Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Txatxu in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Reynaldo Txatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Jaguares and the Puna players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Jaguares getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Reynaldo Txatxu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Jaguares's zone, Lucio Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Natanael came out of the goal and Lucio Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Heriberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Gorosti in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Puna getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fulgencio Lesardo hit a great ball. Julian Omero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Silvano Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Natanael made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Laureano Ler sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Los Jaguares getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eduardo Gerazan hit a great ball. Cayetano Natanael was a little too slow when Lucio Cesaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Txatxu was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Laureano Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Ler in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Los Jaguares got a freekick which was hit by Simon Gorosti. In the 61st minute, Lucio Cesaro made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Natanael. Los Jaguares's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fulgencio Lesardo's late challenge caught a Los Jaguares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Reynaldo Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Jaguares's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Txatxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Heriberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Ler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Elivareo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Elivareo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Arnulfo Elivareo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Lucio Cesaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Natanael. Los Jaguares's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Cesaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 80 minutes in the game, Laureano Ler dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Cayetano Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Cesaro in the 82nd minute of play forced Los Jaguares's goalkeeper Cayetano Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucio Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Puna's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
