To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nicanor Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trejos's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Bazil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Nevada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trejos's Rosendo Goyo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Bernardo Sugar made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Trejos got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Natal. Hernan Florin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Curarú's Gogo Norino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Godfredo Lordi but with some difficulty. In the 61stth minute of the game Cayetano Fernado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trejos's Godfredo Lordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Curarú's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Bazil came free, but Donato Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rosendo Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Goyo in the 71st minute of play forced Curarú's goalkeeper Donato Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Bazil in the 78th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Bernardo Sugar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curarú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trejos the free kick. A collision led to Curarú getting a freekick after 84 minutes play.
