Jimeno Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Dacio in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Gustavo Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Teo Cortez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimeno Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Dalmacio Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Larra came free, but Jimeno Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Gaston Dacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jimeno Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaston Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaston Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Larra's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jimeno Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Dacio went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Gartzi in the 49th minute of play forced Platense's goalkeeper Jimeno Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Piarres to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Porcelana got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Walme. With an all-out effort, Porcelana's Jimeno Santana threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaston Dacio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Larra got free with Jimeno Santana in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Victoriano Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Gustavo Larra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimeno Santana. The goal made the score 2-3. If Omar Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Luzaide having to interfere. In the 79th minute Gaston Dacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Salomone hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Gaston Dacio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Porcelana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Dacio couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Porcelana getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Igor Gartzi hit a great ball. Jimeno Santana made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gustavo Larra sent off a good shot on target. Gaston Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jimeno Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Platense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Porcelana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
