Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Conrado Maule made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th match minute, Libertad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes Egusquiza got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Telo. In the 10th minute, Egusquiza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Feliberto Eleazar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Conrado Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Libertad AFC's Alejandro Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Iago in the 22nd minute of play. Alejandro Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Iago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Feliberto Eleazar came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Libertad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Eleazar couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Egusquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Vachon to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Eate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alejandro Shantala. Libertad AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Carlos Michael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Feliberto Eleazar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alberto Noe charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Noe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Libertad AFC's Alberto Noe got a free kick in the 51st minute. Carlos Michael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Shantala having to interfere. Alejandro Shantala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Iago's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes Egusquiza got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Vachon. Teodosio Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Michael in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alejandro Shantala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carlos Michael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Alejandro Shantala made a huge save. Basilio Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Agustin Etxepare hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Carlos Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alejandro Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Libertad AFC's Alejandro Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Iago in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Teodosio Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egusquiza's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Iago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Shantala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Egusquiza players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Libertad AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
