When Fidel Ermengol fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilón AFC's protests and gave Fidel Ermengol a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Pilón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Ermengol. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Iyan in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Rodas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PLAYSTATION3's Bernardo Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Ixidor in the 13th minute of play. Luisito Pacifico who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Carolo Nastasio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Pilón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Vargas to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Zeledon Nel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute Bruno Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Carolo Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pilón AFC booed when PLAYSTATION3 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play PLAYSTATION3's Zeledon Nel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, PLAYSTATION3's Zeledon Nel got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bernardo Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Luisito Pacifico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Nastasio having to interfere. If Ramon Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosme Iyan to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Rodas made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bruno Ixidor sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Cosme Iyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Rodas was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Bruno Ixidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PLAYSTATION3's Bernardo Rodas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save PLAYSTATION3 from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Eufrasio's late challenge caught a PLAYSTATION3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
