When Amador Palben came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bengolea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Palben couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Gelmiro during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bengolea AFC booed when Amenábar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Amenábar got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Chus. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Palben was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amenábar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Froilan Ramos was slow to take the kick. During this time Bengolea AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Bengolea AFC's Aurelio Sesuldo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Amador Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Balendins short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Christian Uxio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christian Uxio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Matai's shot from short distance in the 67th minute.
