The audience was convinced that Alfonso Nafarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Mede was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Igor Mede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Nafarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Chumbicha AFC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Frisco. Malleo AFC's Igor Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Nafarroa in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Malleo AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Antonio Pelayo hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Malleo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Maraman came free, but Igor Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Mauro Quilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Igor Mede was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Mede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Nafarroa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Igor Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Serafin Maraman made a precise shot to the right of Igor Mede. Malleo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Serafin Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Chumbicha AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Nafarroa to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Mede having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Alfonso Nafarroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chumbicha AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Igor Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Serafin Maraman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Igor Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes in the game, Alfonso Nafarroa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Igor Mede having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Malleo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Nafarroa came free, but Igor Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Malleo AFC's goalkeeper Igor Mede had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Maraman. When Serafin Maraman came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Chumbicha AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Maraman couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Nafarroa in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Mede saved Malleo AFC from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Malleo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Nafarroa came free, but Igor Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Nafarroa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Mede. That made the score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Serafin Maraman took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Igor Mede to make any attempt to save it. If Alfonso Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andres Sanduru hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
