After having played for 16 minutes, Jacinto Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camarones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arsenio Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Lauaxeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Otsoa's late challenge caught a Camarones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Otsoa helped the player get up and apologised. 40 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Maria came free, but Angel Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Maria made a kick off. Angel Lauaxeta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicanor Estefan. Bernardino Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Florentino Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Manuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Camarones FC's Arsenio Maria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 64th minute, Victoriano Manuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Angel Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Pelagius scored 0-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bernardino Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Cresconio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Eneas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Racing Club's Angel Lauaxeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Pelagius in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Angel Lauaxeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Pelagius. Israel Pelagius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Lauaxeta having to make a save. The supporters of Camarones FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Maria in the 82nd minute of play. Angel Lauaxeta made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Israel Pelagius sent off a good shot on target. Arsenio Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Camarones FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Racing Club throughout the match.
