Fabricio Ilixo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Benicio Iraitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Nabar was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Hernan Damario's late challenge caught a Sioux FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Mateo Bixintxo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sioux FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Bixintxo couldn't finish the play. If Benicio Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Bixintxo was the one to do the kick off. Salvador Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fabricio Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The El Exodio players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sioux FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
