Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laureano Ugutz kicked off to start the match. If Reynaldo Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when deportivo argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Estavan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, deportivo argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Tello came free, but Carolo Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Reynaldo Tello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Amancio Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With his leg Ignacio Gorri managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when deportivo argentino's Laureano Ugutz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 23 minutes, Leonardo Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. deportivo argentino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Rius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Laureano Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Rius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes deportivo argentino got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Torres. Carolo Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Estavan in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Tello made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, C.A.Independiente's Godofredo Peio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carolo Afonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ignacio Gorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Hever in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Godofredo Peio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carolo Afonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rigoberto Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Cristobal Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Laureano Ugutz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Gorri was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 78thth minute of the game Laureano Ugutz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Independiente's Ignacio Gorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A.Independiente fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Carolo Afonso came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Independiente's Jonas Urbasa. But to his dismay, Jonas Urbasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 90th minute of the match Amancio Estavan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Afonso skillfully saved the ball. The C.A.Independiente players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
