The tension between the Galarza and the Barrialito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Galarza got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Bordat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Lucero in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Dominix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feliberto Celio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Vladimiro Dominix made a huge save. Galarza's Vladimiro Dominix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Galarza from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Saverio Lucero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justo Toli to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Barrialito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Joey to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Dominix having to interfere. A hard shot by Cristobal Thomas from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Palben's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 71 minutes into the match, Saverio Lucero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Dominix. Galarza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Lucero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Feliberto Celio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Vladimiro Dominix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrialito FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Charro in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Palben saved Barrialito FC from getting behind. Galarza's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
