Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marciano Peru kicked off to start the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Jorge Newbery's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Jaunti came free, but Herminio Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Liher was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Rocketliense's Adolfo Cibran got control of the ball when Humberto Rojelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Ciro Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocketliense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marciano Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Marciano Peru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Cibran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Platon in the 35th minute of play forced Jorge Newbery's goalkeeper Herminio Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jorge Newbery's goalkeeper Herminio Sugoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jorge Newbery's Marciano Peru in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rocketliense's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute, Ciro Platon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Sugoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Rocketliense were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Jaunti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herminio Sugoi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rocketliense's Godfredo Jacob. But to his dismay, Godfredo Jacob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Rocketliense's Sixto Osmundo got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Sixto Osmundo off the ground. Sixto Osmundo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Conrado Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Gaston Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Sugoi having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Marciano Peru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jorge Newbery and the Rocketliense players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ciro Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match Ciro Platon climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-4 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Herminio Sugoi. Herminio Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ciro Platon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Jorge Newbery's Gaston Aztore got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Herminio Sugoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Platon in the 85th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Ciro Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocketliense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
