The referee ignored Jobson FC's protests and gave Guillermo Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. Guillermo Aimar hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes of play Jobson FC's Guillermo Aimar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 5th minute, Guillermo Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Simon Tiadoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jobson FC's zone, Albino Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Tiadoro came out of the goal and Albino Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, Martínez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Piearres to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Gaskon in the 12th minute of play forced Jobson FC's goalkeeper Simon Tiadoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Martínez AFC's Maximino Nastasio got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes Jobson FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Felipillo. Martínez AFC's Leo Santio suffered a sore thigh after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Ellande got free with Julio Etxatxu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the match, Arturo Ellande got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Etxatxu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Martínez AFC's Julio Etxatxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Martínez AFC from getting a goal against them. If Arturo Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Americo Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Martínez AFC's zone, Arturo Ellande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Etxatxu came out of the goal and Arturo Ellande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Israel Orti made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Jobson FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Celestino Oriol hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Arturo Ellande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martínez AFC's Julio Etxatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jobson FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Martínez AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Nardo took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Americo Felipillo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 60th minute. Niceto Jaunti charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Jaunti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Martínez AFC booed when Jobson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martínez AFC's Julio Etxatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Ellande in the 65th minute of play. Arturo Ellande took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Etxatxu. Julio Etxatxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Arturo Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Tiadoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Orti in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Orti got free with Simon Tiadoro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Ellande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Arturo Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jobson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Ellande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Etxatxu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Martínez AFC's Albino Gaskon got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lisandro Beila charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Beila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Arturo Ellande made a precise shot to the right of Julio Etxatxu. Martínez AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jobson FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
