Nicanor Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Bizi in the 5th minute of play. Felix Ekain hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Angelino Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Angelino Delfino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Ioritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Angelino Delfino's late challenge caught a Iriarte AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Ostende FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Delfino to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Benjamin Bizi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ostende FC.'s Nicanor Haritzeder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Iriarte AFC's Felix Ekain in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ostende FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. One of Ostende FC.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iriarte AFC:s goal. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Iriarte AFC. Paulino Ler stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicanor Haritzeder. 1-1. Nicanor Haritzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Ekain in the 35th minute of the match. When Benjamin Bizi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Iriarte AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Bizi couldn't finish the play. In the 40thth minute of the game Felix Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ostende FC.'s Nicanor Haritzeder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Iriarte AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gaitano came free, but Ismael Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Haritzeder having to interfere. Manuel Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ismael Ioritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostende FC.. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Gaitano to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Haritzeder was a little too slow when Felix Ekain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a little luck, Ostende FC.'s Nicanor Haritzeder got control of the ball when Benjamin Bizi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albino Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Benjamin Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nicanor Haritzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iriarte AFC's Felix Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Ekain couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ostende FC.'s Angelino Delfino got a free kick in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Ostende FC.'s goalkeeper Nicanor Haritzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Bizi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Ekain in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Haritzeder saved Ostende FC. from getting behind. Nicanor Haritzeder was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Felix Ekain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Ekain really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Iriarte AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
