Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norberto Santikurtz started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Conrao in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Uzuri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Basualdo came free, but Valentin Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Valentin Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Illart having to interfere. With a little luck, Hernández FC's Benito Illart got control of the ball when Victoriano Calixto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hernández FC's goalkeeper Benito Illart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amador Conrao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Uzuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Amador Conrao made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Uzuri. Espinillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Hernández FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Sotil came free, but Benito Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Conrao came free, but Valentin Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Espinillo booed when Hernández FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hernández FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Conrao was the one to do the kick off. Teofilo Frechoso hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Paolo Basualdo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hernández FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 64 minutes, Ramiro Macerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espinillo and the Hernández FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Ramiro Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Macerio was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th match minute, Espinillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Macerio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Amador Conrao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernández FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Conrao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Victoriano Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Walme's late challenge caught a Hernández FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Walme helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Espinillo got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Walme. Valentin Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Conrao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Victoriano Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Calixto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goalkeeper Valentin Uzuri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Basualdo. The Hernández FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
