One of Urutaú FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peralta FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Txema in the 12th minute of play forced Urutaú FC's goalkeeper Angel Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Peralta FC's Federico Pello got control of the ball when Ivan Refugio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Ivan Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Peralta FC's Ermegildo Txema in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Angel Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peralta FC. After a rather tough play, Urutaú FC's Adolfo Vergaray got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Urutaú FC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Platon. Benjamin Guillem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Angel Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Barto in the 34th minute of the match. Ermegildo Txema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Frutos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Urutaú FC's Angel Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Txema in the 38th minute of play. Ermegildo Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Angel Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Federico Pello managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Urutaú FC's Ivan Refugio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46th minute, Horacio Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Peralta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Refugio to make the kick off. Ivan Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Pello having to interfere. Ivan Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Fidensio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Fidensio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the match, Marcial Barto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Frutos. Urutaú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Barto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Horacio Platon charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute Ermegildo Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Adolfo Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urutaú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peralta FC the free kick. In the 90th minute, Adolfo Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Txema in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ermegildo Txema kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Frutos. That made the score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. The Peralta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peralta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
