Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gavino Pancho took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Higuera's goalkeeper Albino Mitxel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Esquipula. Gregorio Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Manuel Firmo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaresnaider FC's Manuel Firmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Mitxel. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Gavino Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ariel Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Esquipula got free with Albino Mitxel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Jacobo Urtats in the 32nd minute really tested Albino Mitxel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Carlos Martino struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Albino Mitxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaresnaider FC. In the 36th minute, Gregorio Esquipula fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Manuel Firmo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Erramun in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Mitxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tadeo Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Higuera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Estebe couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Gregorio Esquipula notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Higuera's Albino Mitxel. Albino Mitxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Guaresnaider FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Carlos Martino hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Guaresnaider FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gavino Pancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 70th minute Manuel Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Godofredo Erlantz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albino Mitxel. Higuera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Carlos Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaresnaider FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Mitxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th match minute, Guaresnaider FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Erramun to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Urtsin having to interfere. Higuera's Albino Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Esquipula in the 82nd minute of play. Gregorio Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Estebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ariel Urtsin made a huge save. Guaresnaider FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Higuera for a fine match.
