Uriel Baladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cecilio Palben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flojo Licuado's Cecilio Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Prejun in the 15th minute of play. Cecilio Palben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Flojo Licuado's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Prejun came free, but Cecilio Palben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humboldt FC's Uriel Baladi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicanor Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Flojo Licuado defense, Nicanor Prejun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecilio Palben. The Flojo Licuado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Palben should have stopped the shot. After having played for 26 minutes, Nicanor Prejun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humboldt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Prejun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Baladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Cleto Rencio made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Palben. Flojo Licuado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nicanor Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Armando Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Humboldt FC's Uriel Baladi in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flojo Licuado's goalie prevented a goal. Nicanor Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The Flojo Licuado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Humboldt FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Modestio to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Uriel Baladi from a close distance when the talented Cecilio Palben managed to make a qualified save. Flojo Licuado's players were relieved. In the 59th minute of the match, Uriel Baladi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cecilio Palben was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 60 played minutes Flojo Licuado got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Modestio. Cecilio Palben made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Baladi in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Humboldt FC's Nicanor Prejun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Palben narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Uriel Baladi came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Humboldt FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Baladi couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Palben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Prejun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cecilio Palben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Baladi got free with Cecilio Palben in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicanor Prejun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
