After 31 played minutes, Boca juniors's Silverio Berasko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cecilio Palben came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca juniors reached it. If Fabricio Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Higinio Turi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Boca juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Markel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Pedro Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Quintun didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Hipolito Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boca juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
