The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Monteverde's Anselmo Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Abascal in the 16th minute of play. When Aaron Bonadona came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Monteverde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Bonadona couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Rafe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Abascal's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Aquilino Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, MDP Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Vellito to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Sarracino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Roman Emeterio made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Abel Selatse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDP Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geronimo Abascal made a kick off. Freddy Maju kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Aaron Bonadona put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Emeterio. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Clodoveo Savion got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Aquilino Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Monteverde's zone, Geronimo Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Rafe came out of the goal and Geronimo Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Selatse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Geronimo Abascal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Isidoro Jakobe hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Abel Selatse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Anselmo Rafe made a huge save. Abel Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Anselmo Rafe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Selatse got free with Anselmo Rafe in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of MDP Team booed when Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Abascal in the 94th minute of the match. MDP Team were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
