Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herminio Roland kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Obano during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orán's Fulgencio Cordarrell shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benedicto Raulo but with some difficulty. Benedicto Raulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Lobo got free with Benedicto Raulo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Orán's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Pirmin came free, but Amancio Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Herminio Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Arauca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herminio Roland fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benedicto Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Lobo in the 24th minute. If Isaias Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Raulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Arauca's goalkeeper Benedicto Raulo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Hondo. When Delmiro Amaya fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orán's protests and gave Delmiro Amaya a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Delmiro Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The audience was convinced that Herminio Roland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Raulo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Tiburcio Pirmin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Arauca fans jumped to their feet. In the 69th minute, Arauca's Alejandro Isidor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alejandro Isidor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arauca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alejandro Isidor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 69 minutes into the game, one of Arauca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arauca:s Benedicto Raulo showed great skill when he stopped Fulgencio Cordarrell:s penalty. If Herminio Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Raulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Roland's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Rolando Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arauca's protests and gave Rolando Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Roland in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Raulo saved Arauca from getting behind. Herminio Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Raulo having to interfere. Benedicto Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Lobo in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Roland in the 96th minute of play forced Arauca's goalkeeper Benedicto Raulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Lobo struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Benedicto Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orán. Orán were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
