Honorio Estavan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pastor Gustau. tosta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ambrosio Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Iraunkor having to interfere. Victorino Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Gustau having to interfere. Ambrosio Mateus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Iraunkor having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Illart in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Gustau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Illart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. tosta's Pastor Gustau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save tosta from getting a goal against them. When Victorino Isias came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Frías fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Isias couldn't finish the play. tosta's Pastor Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Illart in the 47th minute of play. Filiberto Sauveur's late challenge caught a Frías's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Sauveur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Filiberto Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Esquipula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pastor Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Isias in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Isias in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Gustau saved tosta from getting behind. Pastor Gustau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Illart's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Victorino Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pastor Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the tosta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Frías.
