Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santo Erramu started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferrocarril SARMIENTO's goalkeeper Florentino Chayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avellaneda's Ciriaco Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Chorche in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florentino Chayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ciriaco Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Chorche couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril SARMIENTO's goalkeeper Florentino Chayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Chorche. In the 17th match minute, Ferrocarril SARMIENTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Bihar to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Santo Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Avellaneda's goalkeeper Osvaldo Eli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Harri to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Amado Elorri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Avellaneda's Osvaldo Eli didn't even have to move. If Santo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Elorri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osvaldo Eli. Avellaneda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Avellaneda:s Osvaldo Eli showed great skill when he stopped Amado Elorri:s penalty.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Ganix made the kick off in the second half. Florentino Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Chorche in the 52nd minute of the match. Nicanor Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Osvaldo Eli was a little too slow when Santo Erramu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-1. Florentino Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Ganix in the 67th minute of play. Lucas Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Avellaneda's Nicolas Berdaitz tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lucas Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrocarril SARMIENTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Eli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Gonza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avellaneda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferrocarril SARMIENTO the free kick. After 83 played minutes Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Gonza. If Ciriaco Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Osvaldo Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Eli having to interfere. Rigoberto Gonza hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Santo Erramu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Osvaldo Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ferrocarril SARMIENTO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
