If Cristo Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Eliu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Viator went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ciro Manuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Gar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Arnas got free with Cipriano Eliu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristo Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ciro Manuelo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ermegildo Gar sent off a good shot on target. Cristo Arnas struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cipriano Eliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morteros AFC. Ladislao Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cipriano Eliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Arnas in the 90th minute of play forced Los Machaditos's goalkeeper Cipriano Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
