The referee ignored Arerunguá FC's protests and gave Ceferino Patrido a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Lore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Frasquito in the 6th minute of the match. When Arerunguá FC's Teodoro Frasquito in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Pezoneta de MaMorelli's goalie prevented a goal. After 10 played minutes La Pezoneta de MaMorelli got a freekick which was hit by Candido Nerio. After 10 played minutes, Arerunguá FC's Igor Gaspard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desiderio Lore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arerunguá FC reached it. If Candido Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Lore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Padro in the 17th minute of play. Candido Nerio got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 18th minute, Candido Nerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Lore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Teodoro Frasquito struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Desiderio Lore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arerunguá FC. Desiderio Lore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Lore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Frasquito's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Justo Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ceferino Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Arerunguá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Patrido couldn't finish the play. After having played for 34 minutes, Teodoro Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arerunguá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Frasquito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Padro in the 37th minute of play forced La Pezoneta de MaMorelli's goalkeeper Desiderio Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Teodoro Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arerunguá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Candido Koldobika made the kick off in the second half. Justo Padro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Desiderio Lore made a huge save. If Teodoro Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arerunguá FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Igor Gaspard hit a great ball. Lisandro Sarracino's late challenge caught a La Pezoneta de MaMorelli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Sarracino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Igor Gaspard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arerunguá FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, La Pezoneta de MaMorelli's Isidoro Salomon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Arerunguá FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Gaspard in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Igor Gaspard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Desiderio Lore quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ceferino Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Desiderio Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Pezoneta de MaMorelli's Candido Koldobika got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Patrido hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The La Pezoneta de MaMorelli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arerunguá FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Arerunguá FC.
