The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Bartolo Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasolero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Hitz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Huly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th match minute, Wilde Atlethic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Lapurdi in the 9th minute of play forced Wilde Atlethic Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Huly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Bartolo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Huly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Huly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, Gasolero's Javier Lapurdi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Huly was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Gasolero's Segundo Cutberto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Javier Lapurdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wilde Atlethic Club's Rogelio Huly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wilde Atlethic Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Huly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Javier Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rogelio Huly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Huly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gasolero. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucio Bernat was the one to do the kick off. Atilano Castulo's late challenge caught a Gasolero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Castulo helped the player get up and apologised. Segundo Cutberto took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Huly. Rogelio Huly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Hitz in the 60th minute of play forced Wilde Atlethic Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Huly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gasolero's Bartolo Hitz in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Bartolo Hitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rogelio Huly, passed just outside the right post. In the 79th minute of the match, Bartolo Hitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rogelio Huly saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilde Atlethic Club's Rogelio Huly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Hitz in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Gasolero's Bartolo Hitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Rogelio Huly made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Segundo Cutberto sent off a good shot on target. Gasolero's Bartolo Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Lapurdi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Rogelio Huly skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gasolero played a much better game than Wilde Atlethic Club and deserved their victory. The Wilde Atlethic Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
