Ariel Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Sergi having to interfere. Tucumán F.C.'s Reynaldo Argi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match, Reynaldo Argi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teo Eder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The wind increased when Ariel Eladio made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Jakes's late challenge caught a Tucumán F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. Ruperto Sergi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Peter in the 54th minute. Ariel Eladio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Sergi having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Curapaligüé FC's Ariel Eladio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Reynaldo Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Eder having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Armando Eyague sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curapaligüé FC's Teo Eder didn't even have to move. When Jairo Intxixu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Tucumán F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Intxixu couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Tucumán F.C.'s Reynaldo Argi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Eder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Intxixu in the 75th minute of the match.
