The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Richie got free with Enrique Odol in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Baristo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Piquillín's goalkeeper Enrique Odol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Richie. Isidoro Chano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Baristo having to make a save. Teodosio Baristo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Piquillín's Isidoro Chano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Adan Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cochagual players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piquillín were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Boniel made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cochagual's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Chano came free, but Teodosio Baristo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Cochagual's Teodosio Baristo got control of the ball when Adan Rioja tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Isidoro Chano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodosio Baristo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Rioja in the 63rd minute. Isidoro Chano might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Guido Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Piquillín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Rioja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Abeijon succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Teodosio Baristo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Esteve Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the game, one of Cochagual:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 96th minute, Carlos Ixidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquillín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 100th minute Isidoro Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
