Fernando Chuan hit a great ball. If Arnulfo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ramon Oto fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garruchos's protests and gave Ramon Oto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Garruchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Oto to maneuver through the defense. When Enzo Crispo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garruchos's protests and gave Enzo Crispo a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garruchos! The goalkeeper, Aristides Hernando, was totally fooled by Porvenir's Americo Benvide, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Montrelle during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesar Montrelle hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Garruchos's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Rafel came free, but Aristides Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Astor Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Rafel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Chuan in the 51st minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Astor Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnulfo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Porvenir's Pascual Rafel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Hernando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Sazon came free, but Astor Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Porvenir's Arnulfo Rivero made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Hernando was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st match minute, Garruchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Montrelle to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Porvenir's Americo Benvide tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Pascual Rafel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Hernando was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Arnulfo Rivero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Hernando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Garruchos's Fernando Chuan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Rafel in the 92nd minute of play forced Garruchos's goalkeeper Aristides Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnulfo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
