Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robustiano Txatxu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cirilo Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Yaví AFC's Fausto Procopio got control of the ball when Lorenzo Moise tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santillán's zone, Horacio Buinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Javiar came out of the goal and Horacio Buinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Natalio Pero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fausto Procopio. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Santillán's Rafael Abad got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fausto Procopio. Virgilio Luar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Horacio Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cirilo Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robustiano Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santillán's Cirilo Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Txatxu in the 43rd minute of play. Lorenzo Moise struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fausto Procopio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santillán. In the 48th minute, Horacio Buinton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Javiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Pero was the one to do the kick off. If Horacio Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Javiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Txatxu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Txatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Javiar was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Fausto Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Pero in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Moise in the 69th minute of play forced Yaví AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Natalio Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Javiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Txatxu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Yaví AFC's Horacio Buinton got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Alberto Guifre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Santillán's Lorenzo Moise in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yaví AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Moise in the 86th minute of play forced Yaví AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Moise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Procopio. Yaví AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Moise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Robustiano Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Yaví AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Yaví AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Santillán were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
