Diego Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Adan Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Vargas in the 8th minute of play forced El Jamón Galáctico's goalkeeper Adan Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Fidel Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Diego Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueyrredón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cornelio Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the El Jamón Galáctico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Joseph couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Pueyrredón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Maju came free, but Albino Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Jamón Galáctico's goalkeeper Adan Sandalio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cornelio Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pueyrredón FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Evelio Pio hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match El Jamón Galáctico got a corner. Pueyrredón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Diegotxe ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ernesto Diegotxe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Albino Iratxo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Maju to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pueyrredón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Joseph came free, but Albino Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Sandalio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fidel Erauso sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Fidel Erauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Diego Vargas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adan Sandalio. The goal made the score 0-1. If Everardo Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Pueyrredón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Bixintxo to maneuver through the defense. El Jamón Galáctico's Ernesto Diegotxe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pueyrredón FC. Tomas Cordarell lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Jamón Galáctico! After having played for 94 minutes, Godfredo Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Jamón Galáctico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Clemencin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pueyrredón FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
