When Hernan Bixintxo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueyrredón FC's protests and gave Hernan Bixintxo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Pueyrredón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Bixintxo to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Jaime Calvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Albino Iratxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Salvador Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club de Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Hulberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Bembe came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Pueyrredón FC's Diego Vargas. But to his dismay, Diego Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Diego Vargas took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Bembe. Dante Bembe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dante Bembe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Erauso in the 25th minute of the match. Fidel Erauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Bembe having to interfere. Albino Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Salvador Hulberto sent off a good shot on target. If Fidel Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Erauso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Bembe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Claudio Nikola kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Hernan Bixintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Dante Bembe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Vargas's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Salvador Hulberto made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Galoer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Racing Club de Avellaneda's Dante Bembe got control of the ball when Fidel Erauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Racing Club de Avellaneda's Salvador Hulberto in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pueyrredón FC's goalie prevented a goal. Salvador Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Albino Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pueyrredón FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ramiro Magdaleno hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Diego Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Galoer during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Racing Club de Avellaneda! The goalkeeper, Dante Bembe, was totally fooled by Pueyrredón FC's Arnulfo Indartsu, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Leopoldo Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Iratxo having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pueyrredón FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
