Damian Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Leguizamón having to interfere. Damian Ourente struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Florencio Leguizamón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Platense. When C.A.Platense's Damian Ourente in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ham FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th match minute, C.A.Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Eladio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the C.A.Platense defense, Mateo Dalmau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Isusko. The C.A.Platense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Isusko should have stopped the shot. C.A.Platense's Damian Ourente got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgardo Joachim charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Joachim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A.Platense booed when Ham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Leguizamón having to interfere. If Esteve Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, C.A.Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Tibalt came free, but Genaro Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Dalmau was the one to do the kick off. Florencio Leguizamón came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Platense's Esteve Mendebal. But to his dismay, Esteve Mendebal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Ham FC booed when C.A.Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Eladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Elija hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Florencio Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With his leg Genaro Isusko managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Ham FC's Honorato Tibalt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th minute, Damian Ourente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes of play Ham FC's Edgardo Joachim was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 78 played minutes Ham FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Joachim. Ham FC's Florencio Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Ourente in the 81st minute of play. Esteve Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Leguizamón having to interfere. Damian Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Mendebal took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Leguizamón. Florencio Leguizamón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ham FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
