Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Pelayo started the match with the kick off. Astor Monte might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Leobardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Monte ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Palban in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Leobardo saved Los hijos de la Viuda from getting behind. Guaberto Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Palban in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Albino Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Macachín booed when Los hijos de la Viuda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Monte got free with Guaberto Leobardo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match, Astor Monte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guaberto Leobardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juan Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Los hijos de la Viuda booed when Macachín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Playo having to interfere. If Generoso Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aaron Palban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Leobardo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Aaron Palban was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Macachín's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Los hijos de la Viuda's Generoso Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Olo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Teofilo Balesio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Astor Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Guaberto Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Palban to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Macachín's Aaron Palban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Leobardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Astor Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Los hijos de la Viuda's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Monte came free, but Guaberto Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Monte struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Guaberto Leobardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macachín. Generoso Chico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rosendo Playo came out and tried to block the shot, but Generoso Chico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Albino Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Llin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guaberto Leobardo. Los hijos de la Viuda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albino Diagur hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Macachín's Aaron Palban got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Astor Monte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Monte in the 83rd minute of play forced Los hijos de la Viuda's goalkeeper Guaberto Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Macachín were awarded a corner. Francisco Llin went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Romeo Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macachín's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Patxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Leobardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macachín's Rosendo Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Pelayo in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
