The referee ignored Club Atlético del Valle's protests and gave Cleto Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. If Emiliano Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Jax to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quehué AFC's Nestor Jerico got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Club Atlético del Valle's goalkeeper Benedicto Johans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Ulizes. 73 minutes into the match, Fabian Aritza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benedicto Johans, 0-4. Emiliano Jax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Quehué AFC got a corner. Club Atlético del Valle's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Efrain Bembe ran over to the corner to take the kick. With an all-out effort, Quehué AFC's Benedicto Johans threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emiliano Jax, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Quehué AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
