Mataderos FC's Eulalio Harri suffered a concussion after 14 minutes and had to leave the field. After 15 minutes, Romeo Fagondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Faraone F.C and the Mataderos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Mataderos FC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabian Benino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Faraone F.C's Celestino Arixo. 2-0. Elpidio Urbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Arixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Tartalo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute Rodrigo Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Urbes having to interfere. Lisandro Quintana scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Urbes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute of the match Ceferino Fliz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Urbes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Ceferino Fliz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Urbes skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Elpidio Urbes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th play minute Lisandro Quintana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elpidio Urbes. 2-2. Elpidio Urbes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Quintana in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when The Faraone F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Faraone F.C's Celestino Arixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Tartalo in the 77th minute of play. Rodrigo Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Celestino Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Iago in the 83rd minute of play forced The Faraone F.C's goalkeeper Celestino Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Faraone F.C's Abel Mergildo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ceferino Fliz's late challenge caught a Mataderos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Fliz helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Fliz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lisandro Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mataderos FC's Elpidio Urbes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Mataderos FC from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Quintana came free, but Elpidio Urbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Faraone F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mataderos FC.
