After some careless play in the Anguilan defense, Teodosio Adrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Dolfos. The Anguilan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Dolfos should have stopped the shot. Feliciano Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Providencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Roldanillo to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Quentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Adrio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Carmelo Dolfos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Behe got free with Nicasio Gentza in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Caton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicasio Gentza came out and tried to block the shot, but Feliciano Caton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Nicasio Gentza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Providencia FC's Nicasio Gentza got control of the ball when Melquiades Behe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melquiades Behe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nicasio Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Adrio in the 74th minute of the match. If Teodosio Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Providencia FC booed when Anguilan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Behe didn't get a good kick on the ball.
