In the 7th minute, Roque Nisio made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Hegoi. Unanué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Roque Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cecilio Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Veronica charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Veronica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateo Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cecilio Hegoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Nisio went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Roque Nisio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Hegoi was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Nisio in the 31st minute of play forced Unanué's goalkeeper Cecilio Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Narciso Ponc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Nisio took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Hegoi. Cecilio Hegoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Placido Bieito fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reconquista's protests and gave Placido Bieito a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Reconquista getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Placido Bieito hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Bieito in the 45th minute of play forced Unanué's goalkeeper Cecilio Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Narciso Ponc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Hegoi. Unanué's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Ponc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half Reconquista were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Nisio to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Unanué defense, Pascual Avellaneda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecilio Hegoi. The Unanué fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Hegoi should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes in the game, Roque Nisio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cecilio Hegoi having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Pascual Avellaneda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Pascual Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Avellaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Hegoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Roque Nisio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Hegoi made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Pascual Avellaneda sent off a good shot on target. If Roque Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Roque Nisio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unanué's Cecilio Hegoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Nisio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cecilio Hegoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reconquista. After 93 minutes of play, Reconquista's Pascual Avellaneda made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cecilio Hegoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Reconquista left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Unanué.
