After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Santos Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Günther FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Patrido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Naelio in the 9th minute of the match. Cosme Argerich's Armando Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Naelio in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Naelio in the 12th minute of play forced Cosme Argerich's goalkeeper Armando Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Naelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Patrido having to make a save. Santos Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Patrido having to interfere. Günther FC's Santos Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Denis Abella got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ubaldo Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Patrido having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Cosme Argerich got a freekick which was hit by Julio Ourente. If Ubaldo Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Cosme Argerich's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Luke came free, but Armando Patrido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Ubaldo Naelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosme Argerich's Armando Patrido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosme Argerich's Armando Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Naelio in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Günther FC's Ubaldo Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Patrido narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Osasun to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Santos Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Armando Patrido made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cosme Argerich's Anibal Elivareo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cosme Argerich's zone, Santos Luke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Patrido came out of the goal and Santos Luke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Günther FC's Americo Victoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Osasun in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Cosme Argerich got a corner. Günther FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Gutierrez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cosme Argerich's Fausto Gutierrez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Americo Victoro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75th minute of the match, Santos Luke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armando Patrido was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Santos Luke might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Patrido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Luke ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Patrido having to interfere. Anibal Elivareo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Americo Victoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosme Argerich. If Julio Ourente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Victoro having to interfere. David Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Cosme Argerich's goalkeeper Armando Patrido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Luke. Cosme Argerich were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
